HERE / NOW
Wish I was a tree not a man
Winds blowing through my leaves.
Wish I had leaves, flowers and fruits
Living through all seasons...
Grasping the depths of the earth with my roots,
Birds on my branches, building nests...
Bugs and ants wandering into my depths,
Mouldering my inner side.
Wish I had resins and gums
A man asleep leaning back on my trunk.
And I wish I was just a tree, unaware of all these things...
